Flat Fee Mortgage
When another mortgage company lowered their 1% origination fee to just $1,200 in order to 'beat' the flat fee estimate we provided, we lost a client. We're all for honest competition - they were 'personal friends' after all. When the client got to the closing table, however, numerous junk fees appeared bringing the total to over $2,300.
